Become a Vendor: Application Instructions

  1. Read the terms and regulations for a booth lease (see below).

  2. Complete the online application by June 15th. 

  3. The Chamber of Commerce will review your application and reach out to inform you of acceptance or being placed on a waiting list. An invoice will aslo be sent at this time through the Chamber website. You will have the option to pay by credit card (PayPal) or check. All payments will be due by July 1st, or your spot will be opened to the waiting list.

  4. You will receive a confirmation email that your payment has been received.

  5. In July you will receive a vendor packet, including parking instructions as well as the evacuation procedure.

Booth Locations and Vendor Booth Options

Premium Booths will be in Monument Park, along Main Street in the grass areas from Central to Broad. Regular booths will be in the Broad Street parking lot. See Map. We will not be having sidewalk booths this year. 

Food Booths will be located on Central Street and will have access to power.

The Dexter Summer Festival is presented by the Dexter Chamber of Commerce; therefore, we are offering a great deal on booths for those that are members. If you are not a member currently, we encourage you to join the chamber at www.dexterchamber.org.

Members of the Dexter Area Chamber of Commerce have priority for space requests

Booth Pricing:

  • Premium at Monument Park - Dexter Chamber Member: $200

  • Premium at Monument Park - Non-Chamber Members: $250

  • Regular at Broad St Lot - Dexter Chamber Member: $175

  • Regular at Broad St Lot - Non-Chamber Members: $200

**Additional $50 fee if power is needed. Available only in Premium locations**

Booth Set Up Times: Specific loading, unloading and check-in information will be sent in the vendor packet.

  • All set up is to be done Thursday August 8th.

  • You will be given a designated time frame to set up based on the requested time listed on your application. The time allotted will vary from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday evening.

  • All booths MUST be set up and ready for business by 9:45 AM on Friday, August 9th.

  • There will be a police presence overnight to ensure festival site security. 

Booth Selling Times:

  • Booths should remain open for business from 10 AM – 8 PM on Friday August 9th, and 10 AM – 8 PM on Saturday August 10th.

Booth Specifications:

  • Each booth will have a 10ft x 10ft space. You are responsible for providing your own tent with sides, tables, and chairs. A white tent is preferred. 

Terms and Regulations

Dexter Summer Festival Vendor Agreement

  • Display to remain open during set times.

  • You must clean up your space and surrounding areas at the end of the festival and leave the space as you found it.

  • Provide your own insurance for the duration of the event.

  • Agree to not hold the Chamber of Commerce responsible.

  • No guarantees for placement; we reserve the right to determine the best fit for the festival.

  • Applications received after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list.

  • There will be no refunds after July 1st.

  • Smoking is not allowed in the park.

The Chamber of Commerce Agreement

  • To promote the Dexter Summer Festival locally to the best of our abilities.

  • Including: social media, billboards, newspaper, website, posters, banners, ect. 

  • To place exhibitors in the surrounding areas of our festival in the vendors best interests. Hand crafted products will be given preference location.

  • To furnish contracted space, reserving the right to modify in the best interest of the show. No canopies, tables or chairs are provided

  • To notify exhibitors by email of acceptance.
